Dr. Corazon Ramirez has over 17 years of experience and leadership in healthcare development and management of physician owned acute care hospitals and surgery centers. She advocates a physician driven, patient focused approach to healthcare. This approach confirmed itself earlier in her career as the founder of two physician owned surgery centers. The clinical and financial success of these centers led to the development of Dallas based Pine Creek Medical Center a 100% physician owned acute care facility. As founder and CEO of Pine Creek her leadership has allowed this facility to grow from an initial 11 physician owners to over 50 of the area’s most highly respected physicians and over $200 million in annual revenue. As a result of such success she was approached to duplicate her expertise and management style. This demand led Dr. Ramirez to establish Physician Synergy Group in 2007. PSG is focused on facilitating and guiding other physicians in the development, syndication and operation of their own facilities. PSG’s resume includes the development of several physician owned hospitals that generate combined annual revenues of over $500 million in addition to partnering with over 100 physicians in financially successful hospitals, surgery centers, real estate ventures and management company opportunities.
Dr. Ramirez shares with these physicians the utmost respect for the patient and the care they receive and realize that this care is best maximized when identified, delivered and managed by physicians. Dr. Ramirez continues to engage in the practice of medicine as well as provide leadership for the business of medicine. She firmly believes that when physicians are directly involved in every aspect of the delivery of healthcare, patients distinctly benefit.
